What i found that was most important about a HC character was that you needed a Stratagy that worked and worked well. What i would do is go around with a none-HC character and play like it was HC, be really conservative and more concious about what i was going to fight first, how i was going to fight them, where i was going to fight them and who was i going to fight next. Thinking ahead if you know what your up against is the best way to stay out of trouble and avoid getting into tight spots. Another thing to have is a good escape plan or path, if you couldnt escape from a tight spot then you would most likely die, the easiest way to get out of those tight spots was to open a town portal and step through...

Once i had finished the game with a none-HC character acting like a HC character i would then go off and play a HC character using the Stratagy and escape plans i had foundout that worked best...
