When you quote a post, it shows it in a white white box in the middle of all the black, which is really painful on your eyes.

Maybe it would be better if it blended a little better into the black? Just a thought. Veryhappy

It is a big contrast between the two, I agree.

Jed - Can you change the color of a quote box? I don't know if that's a set thing that can't be changed. If you can, maybe the white quote box could be gray instead. Or you could use the tanish/gold color with brown text you use in other places? (like the titles on the index page - Community Discussion, Diablo Series, etc) Those look very nice with the black.

Of course whatever you decide is good with me.

I actually experimented with some different colors before opening the site and always came back to the white for some reason; however, I will continue to look into some other possibilities.

Does the white color of the quick reply box not bother you, too?

Ive not actually been able to find the quick reply box on this forum =[ I have to keep using the new reply button an waited for the page to load... Is this because Of something I've done? do I need to turn the fast reply thing on in my options or something... Ill look around a little harder I guess since you say that there is one...

[Edit: Yes Is was me xD I had not turned on (or acccidently turned off) the fast reply box. I went into my user CP > edit options and turned it on... Maybe it could be made a little darker to fit with the forums/games dark theme? that is if it is possible to change its colour...]

It should be available automatically, but if it's not you can find it in your CP options.

I don't know the black with the white it hurts the eye, to much dark and to much white, its also so simple and to common... let me make the background ! maybe you like it ^_^, just give me the background jpg and i edit it in photoshop!

There is no background image. We're just talking about the quote box color. I will be adjusting it sometime in the near future, so no need to worry. I appreciate the offer, though.

Looks really good Jed. Definitely can't hurt your eyes now. It blends in nicely with the background. Great job!
